A collaboration with Roel Meelkop and Marco Douma
Pierdrie is an audiovisual installation made in collaboration with Marco Douma (visuals) and Roel Meelkop (sound). It's based on the Rotterdam harbour called Waalhaven, and uses (partly processed) field recordings and film footage to create an 18 minute loop in which we share our experience of (our interpetation of) being at the harbour with the visitors of gallery Hommes in Rotterdam. The 3 monitor/4 speaker installation was shown from January 13 to February 12 2012.
A live performance version of the project was presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
