'Zinder' is a project that seemed to have been subliminally brewing in my mind for some time. Not in any crystalized form, but more like a feeling of disquiet. The invitation from Nomad Exquisite to record a release for the label was the push I needed to commit (or surrender) myself to this feeling shape it into music. Before I could think of an action plan, these songs seemed to form themselves, as if they already knew what they wanted to be.
