The process of making this piece started with the simple pulse that you hear at the beginning (and continues throughout the piece). Messing about with my oscillator and some effects pedals, this is what came out at some point. I liked the sound of that repeated tone so much that I decided to make it the basis of a track, gradually adding electronics, distorted sounds, horn samples, and the occasional glitch, until these eventually resolve and the pulse is on its own again.
