Archaeology of an Uncertain Future

Soundtrack for an installation by Marissa Rappard

In rhyme with, and as a futuristic reflection upon, the archeological find of the prehistoric Person of Mander, and more in general the prehistorically formed landscape as a place of spiritualism, Marisa Rappard will develop an immersive, space-fillling installation. Consisting of drawing, ceramics and a soundscape developed by sound artist Rutger Zuyderveld especially for this occasion, Archaeology of an Uncertain Future will question what it is that makes us human in this digital age.

Archaeology of an Uncertain Future will be on show in Drawing Centre Diepenheim, September 2026
