Score for a dance piece by Kim-Jomi Fischer & Marta Alstadsæter

One Night’s Dance is Dansateliers’ annual start-up project for beginning dancemakers. Every year five talented choreographers are challenged to create a new piece within a limited timeframe. The makers explore boundaries, develop concepts, challenge bodies and fuse forms which results in daring and unpolished new work.

During One Night’s Dance 2017, Kim-Jomi Fischer (1985) and Marta Alstadsæter(1990) present the 10 minute piece 'as much as it is worth', in which they explore the process of balancing when the situation offers an unequal scale. They will invite the audience to zoom in on the personal experience of the performers and to witness the subtle and nuanced moment of being in balance.
