An installation for the StreetCanvas festival, Haarlem
On October 7 2010, the Oude Markt in Haarlem was the stage for art festival StreetCanvas. Participating artists included Martijn Engelbrecht, Martin Butler, Jetske de Boer, Coen Oscar Polack, amongst others.
My contribution consisted of three small boxes (reminiscent of bird houses), mounted on trees, each 'broadcasting' a different audio loop, inspired by a story (based on the history of the square) written by participating artist Jetske de Boer.
The music for Ontrafelde Tonen was release on a 7-inch, by the small label Vintermusik.
